This summer, we traveled to Positano, Italy and Santorini, Greece. Both locations are HOT and there is a lot of walking involved. If you're heading on summer vacation soon, these items will keep you cool & comfortable plus they won't break the bank!
This was by far my favorite beach day in Positano. Bagni d'Arienzoopens at 10am and closes at 6:30pm. Beach access cost €12.50 per person and includes sun loungers, umbrella, shower, changing room, toilet and shuttle boat service from/to Positano. We headed down to Spiaggia Grande for breakfast at 8:30am because we made reservations right at 10am when the club opens. You'll definitely want to make reservations if you want chairs on the front row and a table for lunch. While the beach is small, all the chairs will fill up. Even if you get there when they open, without reservations they'll still seat you on the second or third row and there is no guarantee you'll have a table for lunch. Not the end of the world but something to keep in mind.
We spent 4 days in Positano, Italy and tried to do it all from small cafes to the down right fancy. Here is where we ate from Breakfast to Dinner. You might be surprised by the places we loved and the ones we didn't care for!
In April, we decided to join friends that were planning to visit Greece in June. I always book flights on miles so after a few weeks of searching, it ended up being easiest to fly into Naples instead of Santorini. We figured 4 nights on the Amalfi Coast wouldn't be so bad! ;)
