The Gift of Experiences For The Travel Lover

Gift cards have a stigma for being impersonal but, I promise, buying miles or airline gift cards for a travel lover will make the gift receiver the happiest! The miles can often be used to upgrade a seat to business or first and that's a win. I personally fly United Airlines the most often because I earn miles through my Chase Sapphire Reserve card and I'm flying out of Dallas. I advise you look into what airlines have the most routes out of the recipient's local airport or ask a family member if they earn miles for a specific airline with a credit card.

United Airlines is a part of the Star Alliance so when I search on United.com for flights, I will see flights for their partners, as well, which opens up my options. The photo below was a Lufthansa business class ticket booked on United.com.
